    • PURPOSE:To faithfully reproduce a high-definition TV signal by making use of the conversion characteristics of an A/D converter to compensate the characteristics of a demodulated signal and compensating the level difference and the linearity difference between the channels of a reproduction system. CONSTITUTION:A reference frequency signal REFIN including the frequencies f1-f3 corresponding to the 0%, 50% and 100% signal levels of a reference video signal respectively is put into a reproduced RF video signal PBIN via a switch circuit 11. Then the three-point compensation is given to the conversion characteristics of an A/D converter 14 with the demodulation output produced by an FM demodulation circuit 12 to a reference frequency signal PBIN. As a result, a demodulation processing system consisting of the FM modulation circuit 12, an amplifier 13, and the A/D converter 14 can totally compensate the signal levels and the linearity. Thus the signal level difference and the linearity difference are never produced between the channels of a reproduction system. In such a way, the reproduced video signals of high definition can be obtained.

    • PURPOSE: To prevent a deterioration in a reproduced picture quality such as contraction of white or black pattern and change in line crawling frequency characteristic by correcting automatically nonlinear distortion, gain fluctuation or DC fluctuation of a recording and reproducing device.
      CONSTITUTION: A reproduced time axis expanding video signal is inputted to an input terminal 17 and a reproduce ramp signal within a vertical blanking period is inputted, then an address signal is outputted from an address generator 21 synchronously therewith. A reference ramp signal is outputted from a reference index signal generator 19 according to the said address signal and a subtractor 18 takes a level difference between the two signals. The level difference is stored in a storage device 20 to store a level correcting value corresponding to each reproducing level of the reproduced video signal. The level correcting value is read from the storage device 20, it is added with a reproducing time axis expanding reproduction signal at an adder 22 and a level correcting time axis expanding video signal is outputted from an output terminal 23.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the high quality of reproduced picture by sampling input video signals independently with two sampling pulse having 180 deg. different phases, by storing them in a pair of tracks independently and adding and synthesizing them after they have been re-sampled with different two sampling pulses reproduced by reverse process at the time of reproducing. CONSTITUTION:Input video signals are separately sampled by the following frequency; it is twice or less upper limit frequency of an input video signal such as a luminance signal, higher than said upper limit frequency, the 1st and 2nd pulses of a sampling frequency fs as the equation shows, and their phases are different by 180 deg.. The 1st and 2nd sampling signals are supplied to recording system video signal processing circuits 5 and 6 independently. Then, after said signals are signal-processed independently, they are supplied to rotational heads 10 and 11, and stored in a magnetic tape 9. Recorded signals are simultaneously reproduced by a pair of rotational heads 10 and 11, and supplied to reproducing system video signal processing circuits 12 and 13. Then they receive the reverse signal processing at the time of recording, and they are converted into a reproduction sampling signal and taken out.

    • PURPOSE:To make the speed of multichannel readout lower than that of one- channel readout, and to decrease the frequency of a video signal by reading out a video signal out of solid-state image pickup elements by plural channels. CONSTITUTION:An image pickup device 1 consists of four channel solid image pickup elements 1a-1d. Video signals obtained by the elements 1a-1d are transferred, element by element, by using a clock from a clock-signal generaror 2 to readout to four channels. The frequencies of the video signals are supplied to preamplifiers 3a-3d, where they are amplified and corrected to be supplied to recording circuits 4a-4d. Further, the clock-signal generator 2 supplies a control signal to a recording circuit 4e. Recording circuits 4a-4e modulate and amplify supplied signals to shape waveforms suitable for recording, and supply them to recording heads 5a-5d, thereby recording the signals on a magnetic tape 6.
