CONSTITUTION:When an insulation spacer 9 is mounted on a metal container 5, the length of a high voltage coil connection member 17 is determined in the following manner. A position where a connection part 17a between a tip of the high voltage coil connection member 17 and a high voltage coil connec tion wire 11 is inserted a little into an inlet of a high voltage shielding cylinder 3b is determined. A distance between that position and the surface of a flange 5a of the metal container 5 is defined as the dimension X. The distance between the surface of the flange 5a and an end surface of a fitting bolt 12 of a cover 8 fitted to the insulation spacer 9 is defined as the dimension Y. The distance between the end surface of the fitting bolt 12 and the connection part 17a is determined as the dimension L. Then the length of the high voltage coil connec tion member 17 is so determined as to conform to the conditions, L>O and Y-X

    • PURPOSE:To prevent entrance of the external air into an exclusive tank even in case a pressure tank is opened, by providing an exclusive tank having a hermetically sealed structure which is resistive to a little pressure difference and valves communicating with internal and external sides and also providing a gas insulated potential transformer. CONSTITUTION:A gas insulated potential transformer 3 is previously filled with insulation gas and is stored under the condition that an automatic valve 7 is closed. At the time of assembling, the transformer 3 is housed together with an exclusive tank 2 within a pressure tank 1. After the assembling of interior, the tank 1 undergoes sealing, vacuum exhaustion and supply of gas. Namely, in the case of vacuum exhaustion, the valve 7 operates and opens depending on a pressure difference between internal and external pressure. Therefore, an excessive pressure difference is not applied on the tank 2. For the supply of gas, the valve 7 operates and opens depending on the pressure difference when the tank 1 is filled with the insulation gas, the insulation gas flows into the tank 2 from the tank 1, not generating an excessive pressure difference. Thereby, the transformer 3 holds initial insulation performance and it is enough for the tank 2 to have the sealed structure which is resistive to an internal and external pressure difference of about 0.3-0.4kg/cm .

    • PURPOSE:To offer the titled device of small size and low cost excellent in withstand voltage characteristic by a method wherein an insulation member with a relative dielectric constant at least of 3 is arranged between a high- tension coil and a high-tension shield. CONSTITUTION:The insulation member 10 is made of a synthetic resin such as a shieldform rubber or vinyl chloride, so-called a plastic member, and is flexible, expandable-contractable, and soft. This member is high in insulation durability with a relative dielectric constant of 3 or more. The gap formed by the opposed surfaces of the high-tension shield 9 and the high-tension coil 3 and an insulation member 4 is formed with this sheet insulation member 10, and they are formed in such a manner that the inside of the high-tension shield 9 comes in adhesion to the high-tension coil 3 and the insulation member 4 that are opposed to it. The part filled with the insulation member 10 becomes less charged with voltage, resulting in the reduction in electric field stress; therefore, this part improves in withstand voltage performance against the invasion of high voltages of high wave-front steepness. Reduction in size of the high-tension coil is enabled, and the whole gas PT can be reduced.
