    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic property tester capable of accurately and correctly measuring magnetic properties of a sample composed of laminated magnetic steel sheets.SOLUTION: In a magnetic property tester (1) for testing magnetic properties of a sample (2) composed of laminated magnetic steel sheets, H coils (12) for measuring magnetic field intensity of the sample (2) are disposed respectively on the right, left, top and bottom of the sample (2). A pair of yokes (4, 5) to be in contact with end portions of the sample (2) is provided so as to be freely close to and apart from the sample (2). End portions of each yoke (4, 5) are formed into a recess or tensile force is applied between the pair of yokes (4, 5), so that both end portions of the pair of yokes (4, 5) hold both end portions of the sample (2). An air gap compensation coil (13) is disposed inside a B coil (11) for measuring magnetic flux density of the sample (2).
