    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide glass tube type level gauge that can be manufactured at low cost and is easy to confirm liquid levels by visual observation.
      SOLUTION: The direct-viewing level gauge 1 is for visually checking the liquid level 2 in a storage tank 8 and is provided upright at the outside of the storage tank 8 for storing liquid 7 and includes a body 10 for connecting the upper part of a storage tank and a body 12 for connecting the lower part of the storage tank that are provided at the upper and lower parts of the storage tank 8, respectively; and a glass tube 3 has a body 5 for connecting the upper part of the level gauge that is connectable to the body 10 and a body 6 for connecting the lower part of the level gauge that is connectable to the body 12 at the upper and lower parts a failure effect can be passed from the glass tube. Further, the glass tube type level gauge 1 has a colored float 4, that is inserted in the glass tube 3 and floats with a part thereof sunk in the liquid in the glass tube 3, and bodies 13, 16 for limiting the passage that are mounted to a connection part, between the bodies 10, 5 and a connection part between the bodies 12, 6 and then provide holes 51 that enable liquid to pass through but disenable the float 4 to pass through.

    • PURPOSE:To surely estimate the liquid amount in a liquid can by providing a plurality of guide parts standing on float sides and exposing to a can opening and a scale plate arranged in the float approximately in parallel to the guide parts. CONSTITUTION:The fixing parts 2a for guide parts 2 are jointed to each recess on a float 1 to fix the guides 2. A scale plate 3 is inserted from the bottom of the float 1 penetration hole, a fixing pin is inserted one of appropriate positioning holes and the scale plate 3 is fixed with a weight 8 to the float 1. The float 1 is inserted from the opening 11 of an empty liquid can 10 until the weight touches the bottom of the can 10. The float 1 in this state is arranged just below the opening 11. When an injection pipe is inserted in the opening 11 to inject liquid, the liquid amount increases, the float 1 is risen by the buoyancy and the guides 2 touch and slide on the inner wall of the opening 11. During this rise, the scale 3 is read to the reference top 11a of the opening 11 and then, the present liquid amount in the can 10 is visually confirmed.
