    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the drop of a fuel injection quantity by effectively restraining deposit from sticking to a passage downstream of a seat part in a fuel injection valve for an internal combustion engine.
      SOLUTION: The fuel injection valve is provided with a needle valve 20 having a seat abutting part 24 at the tip, and a nozzle body 22 having a seat part 26 on which the seat abutting part 24 abuts. The nozzle body 22 comprises a tapered face 34 including the seat part 26, and a fuel receiving part 28 formed of a spherical sack wall surface 36. The tip part of the needle valve 20 is provided with a first projecting part 38 formed in tapered shape with a larger taper angle than the tapered face 34, and a second projecting part 40 formed in tapered shape with a smaller taper angle than the first projecting part 38. As an embodiment, the second projecting part 40 is formed in conical shape.

    • PURPOSE: To easily adjust fuel supply timing by communicating the exit side of a supply pump to supply a fuel to an injection pump through a fixed orifice with a fuel pressure action means, and through a changeable orifice or the like interlocked with a throttle means with a discharge part. CONSTITUTION: A fuel injection pump device comprises an injection pump 10 to supply a fuel to an engine, and a supply pump 14 to supply the fuel to the injection pump 10 in a charging period of it, and change its exit pressure in accordance with a engine speed. Fuel quantity supply by the supply pump 14 is adjusted by a throttle means 16, and the injection pump 10 is controlled by a liquid pressure action means 12 to change timing of supplying the fuel to the engine. In this case, an exit of the supply pump 14 is communicated with the liquid pressure action means 12 through a first fixed orifice 20 and a valve 21, and the downstream side of the fixed orifice 20 is communicated with a discharge part through a changeable orifice 23 interlocked with a second fixed orifice 22 and the throttle means 16.
