    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tackifying resin emulsion capable of producing such an aqueous tacky/adhesive composition as to be excellent in coatability on release paper such as developing no coating film defects on the release paper including "cissing at its center" and "cissing at its edges", and also excellent in tacky/adhesive layer's heat resistance sustainabilty and self-adhesive/adhesive force to substrates. SOLUTION: The tackifying resin emulsion is prepared by emulsifying (B) a tackifying resin containing (b1) a reaction product of a polymerized rosin, a polyhydric alcohol and a metal salt compound, in the presence of (A) a copolymer (a1) a (meth)acrylic acid compound and/or a (meth)acrylic alkyl ester, (a2) a reactive emulsifier, (a3) a sulfonic acid-based unsaturated monomer and (a4) a styrenic unsaturated monomer as reaction components for the copolymer.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition having an enough adhesiveness without previously applying a pretreatment to a metal, especially a noble metal (alloy) by including a specific derivative, a radically polymerizable monomer and an initiator. SOLUTION: The objective composition comprises (A) a radically polymerizable thiadiazolyldisulfide derivative of the formula [R is a 1-20C bifunctional organic residue; Z is an organic group having a radically polymerizable unsaturated bond; Y is S, N or NH; (n) is 1 or 2, and when Y is N, (n) is 2, and when Y is S or NH, (n) is 1], (B) a radically polymerizable monomer, (C) a polymerization initiator and (D), if necessary, a filler. The mixing ratio of each component is preferably 0.005-30 pts.wt. component A, 0.01-10 pts.wt. component C and 100-1200 pts.wt. component D based on 100 pts.wt. component B. If necessary, a polymerization inhibitor, an ultraviolet absorber, a pigment, an organic solvent, a thickener, etc., can be added to the composition.
