    • PURPOSE:To evenly supply liquefied CO2 by arranging a main pipe inclined downward on the downstream side with a specific elevation angle and projectingly providing a branched pipe in a direction intersecting perpendicularly to the main pipe and inclined downward on the downstream side with a specific elevation angle. CONSTITUTION:When a solenoid valve 4S in a gas-liquid separator 4 is open, a gas in the separator 4 is discharged and simultaneously liquefied CO2 flows in from a introducing pipe 3 and reaches introducing pipe 5f through the main pipe 5 and the branched pipe 5S. When the introducing pipe 5f and the main pipe 5 are successively filled with the liquefied CO2 and finally the gas-liquid separator 4 is also filled, the solenoid valve 4S is closed and the flow-in of the liquefied CO2 is stopped. On the other hand, a vaporized gas generated by heat input in the main pipe 5 flows back to the gas-liquid separator 4 along the highest part of the inside wall of the main pipe 5 since the downstream of the main pipe 5 is inclined downward with -1 deg. to -5 deg. elevation angle. And a vaporized gas generated on the downstream of the main pipe 5 also flows back to the gas-liquid separator 4 while going up in the pipe since the branched pipe 5S is inclined downward with -0 deg. to -60 deg. elevation angle and then the gas free from liquefied CO2 is constantly supplied to a snow forming opening.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To steady the supply rate of dry snow by a forming and supplying equipment for maintaining freshness by gushing liquefied carbon dioxide and supplying the dry snow obtained by the adiabatic expansion thereof into a bag of fishes and shellfishes, and the like, purchased in a store. SOLUTION: This dry snow forming and supplying equipment gushes supplied liquefied carbon dioxide LG to a snow horn 10e from a gushing nozzle by a controller 10c into the bag carried into a supply chamber 10 of an equipment body 10a to be introduced with the supply liquefied carbon dioxide LG and is capable of supplying the dry snow DS formed by the adiabatic expansion for a prescribed time. As this time, the supplied liquefied carbon dioxide LG is introduced into a liquid sump 13 for gas-liquid separation, by which the carbon dioxide is separated to an upper gaseous phase section G and a lower liquid phase section L. Only the carbon dioxide 11a of the lower liquid phase section L is gushed to the snow horn 10e from the gushing nozzle 10d, by which the supply of the steadied dry snow DS into the bag is made possible.
