SOLUTION: The packing body 2 rotatably stores and protects a wound bundle 1a of the water pipe 1 wound in a roll. The packing body 2 has a packing body 3 and a connection cylindrical body 4. The packing body 3 comprises a corrugated fiberboard box and has side walls 3a opposing to each side face 1c of the wound bundle 1a. A drawing-out part 2a for drawing out the water pipe 1 is provided in the packing body 3. The connection cylindrical body 4 penetrates through an axial space 1b of the wound bundle 1a stored in the packing body 3 and connects the side walls 3a, 3a with each other. The connection cylindrical body 4 has an expansion/contraction part 4a of which elongation quantity is restricted so as to allow the side walls 3a, 3a to expand and deform each other up to a predetermined position and restrict the expansion and deformation exceeding the predetermined position.
