    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marine scaffold capable of facilitating carrying. SOLUTION: The scaffold 10 includes: lengthwise scaffolding boards 11; stringer boards 12 which are provided to protrude on the rear face 11b side of the scaffolding board 11 in use and which is tiltable in the longitudinal direction of the scaffolding board 11; wires 17a, 17b structured so that both ends thereof are fixed with tension applied and so as to be applied to the end of the board 12. The wires 17a, 17b retain the board 12 provided so that the stringer board 12 does not tilt when a load is applied from a surface 11a side of the scaffolding board 11 in use. Accordingly, when the inside of a marine tank, for example, is inspected using the scaffold 10, when a load is applied from the surface 11a side of the scaffolding board 11, the load is supported by the tension of the stringer board 12 and the wires 17a, 17b. Thus, the necessity of producing the scaffolding board 11 to be thick and to be formed from a material with high strength can be reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable work unit of favorable maintenance performance in simple structure capable of traveling clear of obstacles in the dock.
SOLUTION: This movable work unit 20 for a dock is movable along a guide rail 12 provided on a dock wall 10. A sideway movable mechanism 42 is provided on a work stage part 40 which is vertically movable along a tower type column 30, and a work base 50 is installed on a tip of it. The tower type column 30 has an elevation post 34 provided outside a horizontal post 36 and vertically slidable along the horizontal post 36. The sideway movable mechanism 42 can be extended and contracted in the horizontal direction of a vessel by a link mechanism 80 provided outside. The work base 50 has a horizontally rotatable mechanism, and it is capable of moving in parallel to a three- dimensional curved surface.

    • PURPOSE:To execute an efficient wall surface work over a wide range by operating a telescopic boom only in the right and left end positions of a wall surface on which the work is to be made to change the position of a wall surface working machine and moving a high altitude working car back and forth along the wall surface. CONSTITUTION:The wall surface working machine 8 is attached to the top end of the telescopic boom 5 of the high altitude working cars 1-3 which can travel in the working attitude. Rotating force is exerted to a swiveling base plate 4 of the high altitude working cars to change the position of the wall surface working machine 8 in the vertical direction thereof in such a manner that the machine 8 always contacts with the wall surface. The high altitude working cars are run back and forth along the wall surface. The machine 8 is successively moved parallel from the upper or lower side of the wall surface and the work is made over the entire part of the wall surface. More specifically, the wall surface work is made possible by minimizing the number of operations of the bottom 5 and the number of stoppage of the high altitude working cars; therefore, this method is effective for improving the wall surface work in which the high altitude working cars are used.
