    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dot impact system print head capable of prolonging the life time by enhancing durability of a pin.
      SOLUTION: A leaf spring 1 is provided, at the forward end part 11 thereof, with a holding hole 12 penetrating in the thickness direction and a pin 2 is provided, at the intermediate part in the axial direction thereof, with an outward flange 21 having a seat surface 21a and, on the proximal end side of the outward flange 21 in the axial direction, with a shaft part 20 being inserted into the holding hole 12. The pin 2 is secured to the leaf spring 1 by caulking the shaft part 20 from the other surface 1B side of the leaf spring 1 under a state where the seat surface 21a of the outward flange 21 is pressed against one surface 1A of the leaf spring 1. The seat surface 21a of the outward flange 21 in such a pin 2 is formed such that the radial outside is displaced more to the proximal end side (shaft part 20) in the axial direction of the pin 1 in a natural condition.

    • PURPOSE: To suppress the trouble such as an increase in the number of processing processes as a whole or the occurrence of bending by cutting a strand into specific length and processing the leading end of a wire so as to remove the edge thereof before applying barrel-polishing thereto. CONSTITUTION: Since the edge 3a formed by the outer peripheral surface 1a of a wire (a) and the leading end surface thereof is sharp, the insertion of the wire (a) in the guide hole of a wire guide is difficult. As one example, a drawing B shows a state such that the edge of the wire (a) is ground into a truncated cone shape by chamfering processing. A drawing C shows such a state that the ground edge (b) is subjected to barrel-polishing and the skin of the outer peripheral surface and the fatigue strength under the outer peripheral surface are improved and edges 4c, 5c are enhanced in the insertion properties into the guide hole. A leading end surface and a conical surface 6c are slightly improved in surface roughness and, from the aspect of the insertion properties of the guide, the grinding meshes of the conical surface are desirably parallel or oblique with respect to a bus as shown by (c). A drawing D shows the end surface 2d subjected to beads blasting treatment of C.
