Further, the air bubbles floating on the water surface are scraped by a scraping machine 20 to the U-channel 10. Makeup water is supplied from a filter water branch pipe 16 to the U- channel 10. The water and the air bubbles are supplied to a plant feed water tank 12. On the other hand, the overflow water of the filter water tank 13 is admitted into the plant feed water tank 12. The sludge from which the air bubbles are removed is supplied by a press feed pump 5 into a dehydrating machine 4.
