The depth of cut A can be changed between a minimum value A0 equal to zero and a maximum value A1 by using the intrusion control part 16 against a force F, particularly to the force F of a spring 4.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve stability of carrying of a work during cutting operation by performing cutting finish b means of a cutter and contacting finish by means of a stabilizing stage, respectively, through rotation in opposite directions. CONSTITUTION:A stabilizing stage 20 occupying a recessed part 11a formed inside of a cutter 10 is provided and the stabilizing stage 20 is driven so as to rotate the stabilizing stage 20 independently from the cutter 10. In addition, the driving direction of the stabilizing stage 20 is made reverse to the rotating direction of the cutter 10. A work W delivered to the cutter 10 is subjected to finish processing by means of a cutting blade 11 of the cutter and is brought into slight contact with the stabilizing stage 20 being positively driven inside thereof. As the stabilizing stage 20 is here driven in the opposite direction to the cutter 10, forces acting the work W are offset each other and a stable delivery is accordingly performed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent adhesion of a chemical agent to a cutting blade and generation of burn in a cut surface of lumber, by cooling a cutting processing blade and a part of the lumber to be cutting-processed with a low-temperature refrigerant such as liquid nitrogen. CONSTITUTION:A blade 1 and a cut part of impregnation-treated lumber 2 with a chemical agent are covered with a hood 3 provided with a discharge duct 3a, a liquid nitrogen is introduced into the hood 3 from a Dewar-shaped liquid nitrogen cylinder 4 through a reducing valve 5 and regulating solenoid valve 6 and the same is blown against the blade 1 and the cut part of the impregnation-treated lumber 2. The solenoid valve 6 is connected with a temperature control device 8 actuating by receiving a signal of a thermistor temperature sensor 7 provided within the duct 3a. With this construction, if the thermistor temperature sensor 7 is established at a fixed temperature, the liquid nitrogen is regulated and blown off. The blade 1 and cut part are held at almost a fixed low-temperature and adhesion of the chemical agent to the blade 1 and generation of burn in a mold 2a are eliminated.
