The back-up rollers 8 are divided into a plurality divided rollers 10, the respective divided rollers 10 are arranged adjacently to one another and supported movably with respect to the mill housing 10, and has first crown adjusting mechanisms 100 for making the positions of the back-up rollers 8 variable which are situated on both right and left end sides. Second crown adjusting mechanisms 200 for making the positions of the divided rollers 10 of the back-up rollers 8 variable except ones on both right and left end sides with respect to the mill housing are provided between the first crown adjusting mechanisms 100 arranged on both right and left end sides, and the second crown adjusting mechanisms 200 are arranged in a non-interference manner with the first crown adjusting mechanisms 100.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cantilever type rolling mill for high rigidity and heavy load specification by simple structure while making the most of advantage of a conventional cantilever type rolling mill.
      SOLUTION: In the cantilever type rolling mill which is provided with a pair of rolling rolls 3 for rolling a material to be rolled, a roll shaft 2 for holding each rolling roll 3 attachably and detachably, a power transmission mechanism 9 and a roll interval adjusting device 5 which are fixed to this roll shaft 2 and also in which the roll shafts 2 on the side on which the power transmission mechanism 9 and the roll interval adjusting device 5 are attached are held with the housing 1 and the rolling rolls 3 are provided in front of the housing 1, an adjusting device 4 of the roll-bearing interval is provided with roll-bearing pressing means 12 in which the roll shafts 2 on the anti-housing side of the rolling rolls 3 are extended, a roll bearing 17 is provided respectively in the extended roll shaft parts 10, a pair of these roll bearings 17 are held slidably in the opposing direction and also a roll bearing pressing means 12 for pressing the bearings in the opposing direction from the outside are equipped.
