    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constant-temperature liquid tank capable of easily performing the heat exchange between a heat source and the liquid, efficiently keeping a constant-temperature of the liquid, and easily and quickly adjusting the temperature even when a dipped article of which the temperature is to be controlled, exists in the tank, with respect to the constant-temperature liquid tank using a thermo module.
      SOLUTION: This constant-temperature liquid tank 1A wherein the temperature of the liquid in the tank is adjusted by a heat supply device 9 comprising the thermo module 31 adjusting the temperature by Pertier effect, comprises an outer tank 3 for storing the liquid, an inner tank 5 mounted inside of the outer tank through a clearance 17, having a through hole 21 on its side wall 19 for allowing the liquid to flow therein from the outer tank and having a hole 25 on a center of a bottom part 23, and a stirring machine 7 for guiding the liquid flowing from the hole of the bottom part of the inner tank through between side walls of the inner and outer tanks, to an upper part by a rotary blade 11 mounted on the center of the bottom part between the outer tank and the inner tank. The thermo module 31 is mounted on an outer face of the side wall 15 of the outer tank to control the liquid flowing between the inner and outer tanks to a set temperature.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for continuously amplifying a DNA, capable of performing the amplification reaction in a large amount and effectively and continuously by performing the temperature-treatments of a reaction liquid containing a DNA fragment as a mold and reagent liquid by using thermal exchange liquid at different temperatures.
      SOLUTION: The device for continuously amplifying the DNA has a reaction liquid vessel 1, a thermostat vessel 2 for degeneration, a thermostat vessel 3 for annealing, a thermostat vessel 4 for elongation, a circulating passage 6 circulating through each of the vessels 1, 2, 3, 4, and a pump 7 operating to supply and transfer the reaction liquid 5 in the circulating passage 6 in one direction. By transferring the reaction liquid 5 with the pump 7, the reaction liquid 5 is maintained at prescribed temperatures in each of the thermostat vessels 2, 3, 4. As compared with a batch method, since the amplification reaction can be performed under preferable conditions by improving heat exchange efficiency to make the reaction liquid 5 at prescribed temperature states uniformly and also rapidly, amplification efficiency can be widely improved. Since the amplification reaction is performed by transferring and supplying the reaction liquid 5 by circulation, it is possible to set the amplification amount of the DNA per on time as a large amount.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the subject apparatus effective for shortening the treating time of a sample and reducing electric power consumption and useful for gene amplification reaction, etc., by heating and cooling a reaction vessel in definite sequence using plural heating and cooling media controlled to different temperatures. CONSTITUTION:Plural media 2a, 2b, 2c for the heating or cooling of a reaction vessel are controlled to different temperatures. The media are made to independently contact with a reaction vessel 4 in definite sequence to enable the control of the reaction vessel 4 at different temperatures according to the heating and cooling sequence with the media 2a, 2b, 2c. Concretely, in the case of gene amplification reaction, the blocks 2a, 2b, 2c containing the media are controlled to 94 deg.C, 54 deg.C and 72 deg.C, respectively, and the reaction vessel 4 containing a sample is successively brought into contact with the blocks 2a, 2b, 2c to effect the thermal denaturation of the sample at 94 deg.C, the annealing of the primer at 54 deg.C and the synthesis of a DNA chain at 72 deg.C.
