    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluidized-bed apparatus in which tilted partition plates are used and which is hardly clogged by powder to be supplied as a raw material even when the size of the fluidized-bed apparatus is made larger.
      SOLUTION: The tilted-rack fluidized-bed apparatus is provided with: a first tilted rack which is tilted downward from one base end part on the inner wall surface of a vertically-arranged tower toward the vertical central axis of the tower and the tip of which is extended to the position exceeding the vertical central axis; a second tilted rack which is tilted downward from the other base end part on the inner wall surface of the tower toward the vertical central axis of the tower, the tip of which is extended to the position exceeding the vertical central axis and which is arranged so that the first tilted racks and the second tilted racks are arranged alternately and apart; and one or more accumulation preventing plates arranged between a first straight line, which is formed by vertically connecting the tips of the first tilted racks to one another, and a second straight line, which is formed by vertically connecting the tips of the second tilted racks to one another, for preventing raw material powder to be fluidized and scattered from being accumulated on the uppermost surfaces of the first tilted trays.

    • PURPOSE:To recover substances in liquids effectively by a solid-liquid contacting method in which a sluice over through as much as a predetermined amount of solid particles can pass by fluidization and diffusion is provided to a screen on which solid particles gradually falling along a path in a horizontal liquid current are put. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical horizontal path consisting of the ceiling plate 1, the bottom plate 2, and two side plates not illustrated is provided with the screen 4 of a downward solpe directed from the upstream to the downstream side. On the screen 4, the sluice plates 5 are provided at given intervals. A liquid fluid, e.g., the sea water, etc., flows from down to upside through the screen 4 like the curved long arrow mark, while solid particles, e.g., titanic acid, etc., supplied to the left upper end of the screen 4 is fluidized by the ascending flow of the sea water and then moded gradually toward the right downside as shown by the short arrow mark by means of its self-diffusibility, during which period uranium, etc., in the sea water is adsorbed and then recovered at the right lower end.
