    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission mechanism which can prevent a shaft from being damaged at the time of assembly. SOLUTION: The driving shaft 11 has a driving shaft side male screw section 18 in its outer peripheral surface, which includes a screw bearing surface 19a. A cylindrical adapter 21 is arranged on the outer side of the driving shaft side male screw section 18 of the driving shaft 11. The driving shaft side male screw section 18 is screw-engaged with an adapter side female screw section 22 formed on the inner peripheral surface of the adapter 21. A hub side female screw section 24 formed in a hub 16 is screw-engaged with an adapter side male screw section 23 formed on the outer peripheral surface of the adapter 21. By the above screw engagement, the hub 16 is pressed against the screw bearing surface 19a to thereby fixedly fasten the hub 16 and the driving shaft 11 to each other. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
