    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door hinge apparatus with a checker capable of exhibiting a sufficient check force at a predetermined position where a door should stop and also capable of easily inserting a detent roller into a holding groove in assembling. SOLUTION: In the door hinge apparatus with the checker for a vehicle including a holding member 22 configured to attach a check force generating mechanism 20 provided between an inner cylinder 6 and an outer cylinder 7 to the outer cylinder 7, an elastic member 23 that biases the holding member 22 toward the inner cylinder 6, the detent roller 26 held in the holding groove 25 of the holding member 22, and detent grooves 27c to 27o provided to the periphery of the inner cylinder 6 and capable of holding the door D in a plurality of positions where the door D should stop by engaging with the detent roller 26, the apparatus applies a compressive load to the elastic member 23 even when the detent roller 26 engages with the detent grooves 27c to 27o, and the periphery of the inner cylinder 6 is provided with an assembly groove 29 enabling an interposition of the detent roller 26 into the holding groove 25 in a state where the holding member 22 is abutting on the periphery of the inner cylinder 6.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door hinge with checking function of vehicles, which can obtain a sufficient holding resistance without greatly-enlarging its outer diameter. SOLUTION: Hinge arms on both vehicle body side and door side are relative-rotatably connected through a hinge shaft 4. A resistance control plate 15 to be revolved integrally with the door side hinge arm is prepared. The hinge shaft 4 is combined integrally with the vehicle body side hinge arm to form a spiral guide trough 20 on the peripheral surface of the hinge shaft 4. A slider 9 to be engaged with the guide trough 20 at a protrusion 14 is prepared to form a guide hole 13 on the slider 9, and then the resistance control plate 15 is slidably-inserted into this guide hole 13. Further stopper protrusions 18a/18b are formed on the resistance control plate 15. Relative rotation of both hinge arms is converted into axial displacement of the slider 9, and resistance generated when the guide hole 13 of the slider 9 overrides the stopper protrusion 18a or 18b will be defined as the holding resistance.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door hinge with a check function for a vehicle capable of attaining a sufficient holding resistance without enlarging an outer diameter. SOLUTION: Hinge arms on a vehicle-body side and a door side are relatively/rotatably connected via a hinge shaft 4. A resistance controlling plate 15 rotating integrally with the hinge arm on the door side is provided. The hinge shaft 4 is integrally connected with the hinge arm on the vehicle-body side while a spiral guide groove 20 is formed on an outer periphery of the hinge shaft. A slider 9 engaging to the guide groove 20 with a protrusion 14 is provided. Furthermore a guide hole 13 is formed in the slider while the resistance controlling plate 15 is slidably inserted into the guide hole. Also, stopper projections 18a, 18b are formed on the resistance controlling plate 15. The relative rotation of the hinge arms is converted into a displacement in the direction along the axis of the slider 9, so that the resistance produced when the guide hole 13 goes over the stopper projections 18a, 18b is shifted to the retaining resistance.
