    • PURPOSE:To turn off an electric power source without using an external timer and interrupting busy calls by enabling the setting of power source turning ON/OFF time of an exchange and controlling the power source by a central controlling unit. CONSTITUTION:Turning off time Toff and on time Ton are inputted from a maintenance console MC by command. The central controlling unit (CC) adds an identification code ID to the inputted time information through an interface IFC and stores in a main memory (MM). The CC collates the set time of the MM and the present time of a timer (TM) by the period program of an automatic power source cut off processing mechanism AC and supervises the presence of busy call, and then transmits a power source cut off signal to the power source device (POW) of a signal distributing device MSD. The POW turns off the supply of the power source to the exchange by the signal. However, MM and TM continue operation by an auxiliary battery BAT.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the load of a battery and power consumption, by stopping the power supply to a spare system at failure of commercial power supply. CONSTITUTION:A commercial power supply is inputted to a rectifying circuit 1 normally, a DC power is outputted and given to a converter 5' in control circuits 3, 4 and charges a battery 2. If the commercial power supply is in failure, it is detected by a commercial power supply interruption circuit 6 and the information is transmitted to a power supply control circuit 7. Normally, an output Q of flip-flops FF0, FF1 is both at ''1'', but since ''1'' is given to one input of a gate R1 from a present use/spare control circuit if the control circuit 4 is used as spare system, the flip-flop FF1 is reset on mains failure, the converter 5' of the control circuit 4 is inoperative and no power is given to the spare system from the battery 2.
