    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain more accurate temperature information in an image sensor without large-scaled circuit addition, in particular, to obtain right temperature information regardless of a changed gain in accordance with a gain variable constitution. SOLUTION: A temperature information output device generates a voltage VPTAT which is changed in accordance with a temperature, and outputs it as a temperature signal Vtemp in a BGR 270 for generating a local voltage VIc. The voltage VPTAT in such a case is varied so as to divide voltages at both terminals of a serial connection circuit of resistors R3-1 to R3-16 in accordance with a designated gain. A temperature comparator 241 performs comparison by inputting the temperature signal Vtemp and a reference signal RAMP in which an inclination of a ramp waveform is variable in accordance with the gain. A temperature counter 242 performs a count operation in accordance with a result of the comparison, and thereby temperature information converted to a digital signal is generated and outputted. A user of an A/D converter 10 corrects the digital output value Dout from the A/D converter circuit 12 using the actual measurement value of the reference voltage Vref from the actual measurement value storage circuit 13, thereby acquiring a digital value accurately indicating the analog input voltage Vin regardless of the accuracy of the reference voltage Vref.

Although a delay time in the delay units constituting the RDL 11 varies with temperature, the period T_CK of the sampling clock CK, that is, the measurement time in the TAD 10 is varied according to the variation.
