    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the function and performance of an oscillator and a PLL circuit by making an inductor continuously variable by a control signal.
      SOLUTION: The oscillator includes a variable inductor part whose inductance changes, a variable capacity element connected to the variable inductor part, an output part that oscillates by an oscillation frequency determined by an inductance of the variable inductor part and the capacitance of the variable capacity element, and a control signal generating means for generating a frequency control signal for modulating the oscillation frequency. The variable inductor part includes a first inductor, a current signal generating means for detecting an electric signal representing current caused to flow to the first inductor and generating a current signal on the basis of the electric signal, and a second inductor for receiving the current signal, wherein the first inductor and the second inductor are arranged at a prescribed magnetic connection position, and the inductance of the first inductor is made a desired value.
