    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal protector preventing an increase in contact resistance resulting from the contact position deviation of a contact point caused by small contact pressure, dropping, vibration, deformation or the like, and preventing the aggregation of an oxide to a contact point surface, and to provide a method for reducing contact resistance between contacting points.
      SOLUTION: The thermal protector has a first contact point electrically connected to a first external terminal and a second contact point electrically connected to a second external terminal facing the first contacting point and forming a pair with the first contacting point. An activated trace is formed by applying a current while applying vibration on the surface of the first contact point and/or the second contact point. The forming method of the activated trace, electric parts such as a thermal protector having the activated trace, and an electric appliance such as a cellular phone and a laptop computer using the electric pars are provided.

A special wiping action can be obtained by significant sliding displacement and a high contact pressure.
