CONSTITUTION:An output from a strain gauge 11 fitted with a magnetic head HM is supplied to a dynamic tracking control circuit 13. A control signal from the control circuit 13 is supplied to a bimorph 10 as a displacement driving signal via a synthesizer 14 and a dynamic tracking drive circuit 15. Further, a displacement detecting signal from an amplifier 12 is supplied to a hold capacitor 18 via a low-pass filter 16, an amplifier 17 and an on-off switch S31. The voltage of the capacitor 18 and an output of the amplifier 17 are subtracted at a synthesizer 20, its output is subtracted from an output of a DC voltage generating means 25 and supplied to the synthesizer 14 via an amplifier 22 and an on-off switch S33.

    • PURPOSE:To record/reproduce plural magnetic tracks and to prevent position shift at positioning by using a magnetic head, in common use for recording/ reproducing, movable in X and Y directions and adopting direct driving mechanism using a motor or the like to a magnetic head. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic card 9 is positioned and fixed by a fixing pin 18. The magnetic head 3 is driven directly in straight line by an X axis linear motor 20 in the lengthwise direction of the magnetic card 9 while being held to a head arm 19 to attain recording/reproducing on a recording track 10. A Y axis linear motor 21 drives directly a clamp 22 holding the motor 20 to move it discontinuously or continuously at each predetermined interval and is positioned and run. The magnetic head 3 is positioned on a prescribed recording track 10 by this driving, the motor 20 drives the magnetic head 3 on the track 10 to attain recording/reproducing.

When the magnetic head 5 is in the side of a magnetic track position adjusting signal writing track 2 due to the history of the magnetic medium, signals of magnetic head position adjusting signal writing tracks 2, 4 are reproduced by magnetic heard position detecting heads on both ends of the magnetic head, and applied to a signal level comparator circuit 7. The magnetic head 5 is shifted to the track 4 side by the magnetic head driving circuit 8 according to the output signal, and the head is positioned at the center of the data track 3.

    • PURPOSE:To scan a head in parallel with high accuracy without the need for special adjustment, by providing a buffer cylinder between the head and an auxiliary shaft and absorbing an error of fitting between a head main shaft and the auxiliary shaft by means of the piston movement of the buffer cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The main shaft 13 and the auxiliary shaft 14 are fixed to bases 11, 12 with screws and the error buffer cylinder 20 absorbing mounting error between the shafts 13 and 14 and a slide bush 24 are provided between the head 15 and the auxiliary axis 14. The buffer cylinder 20 is accommodated in a hole 23 so as to be in piston movement toward the arrow (a). Through this constitution, the horizontal mounting error of the auxiliary shaft toward the arrow (b), i.e., a distance change between the shafts 13 and 14 is absorbed with the piston movement of the buffer cylinder 20. Thus, the head 15 is scanned in parallel with high accuracy without the need for special adjustment of the mounting of the shafts.
