    • PURPOSE:To facilitate an easy operation when an NC indication program is read out of a memory and an NC command is fed by a key input means for editing, by displaying the specific address, word and character train in a color different from others. CONSTITUTION:An NC indication program is read out of a memory 1 and displayed on a display screen 6 of a display means 5. When a correction is required with the program, an NC command is fed by a key input means 2. A designated command detecting means 3 detects the word, address and character train with which the NC indication program is coincident with the NC command. Then the NC indication program on the screen 6 is controlled so that only the detected coincident area has a color different from other areas by a coloring control means 4. In such a way, only the designated area is displayed in a different color from other areas. Thus the edited area can be confirmed at a glance to facilitate an easy operation.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the operability of a numerical controller containing a display device, by storing previously the prescribed codes of KANJI (Chinese character) or KANA (Japanese syllabary) in a character ROM and displaying the comments for operation of an NC in Japanese words and also in different colors. CONSTITUTION:A character train of KANJI or KANA which is displayed on a screen 25 of a display 24 is fed to an FIFO register 14 from a mu computer (not shown in the diagram). Then the character code and color information are read out of the register 14 and fed to a character RAM20 and a color RAM21. Then an address switch circuit 18 is changed to a scanning address of a CRT controller 16. Thus both RAM20 and RAM21 are read out synchronously with each other. The character code, i.e., the output of the RAM20 is converted into a display character data by a character ROM22. The outputs of ROM22 and RAM 21 are controlled 23 for display, and the characters are displayed 25. This facilitates easy reading of comments and improves the operability of a numerical controller containing a display device.
