摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a case unit in which a glass member can be surely prevented from being dropped from an opening of a case body through a simple technique without increasing the number of components, and a method of assembling the case unit.SOLUTION: Inside an opening 24 of a resin case body 2, a glass packing 6 is disposed along an inner circumferential surface of the opening 24. Thereafter, a metallic frame member 8 is fitted from the outside of the case body 2 to the opening 24, and a glass member 7 is fitted through the glass packing 6 to the opening 24 of the case body 2 while being pressed in. In the metallic frame member 8, a flange part 81 extending from an outer edge part of the opening 24 to the inside of the opening 24 covers at least a part of a pressed-in side terminal part of the glass member 7 in the glass packing 6, thereby surely preventing the glass member 7 from being dropped from the opening 24 of the case body.
