    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holographic data recording apparatus and method of recording a plurality of holographic data by an angle multi-method in which a cylindrical optical body is used to vary incident angles of reference light, and thereby, to reduce the cost and to increase the data recording rate.
      SOLUTION: The holographic data recording apparatus is equipped with: a signal light patterning means to irradiate a holographic medium 50 with signal light including a data pattern to be recorded; a cylindrical optical body 102 which reflects first and second reference light beams alternately entering the cylindrical reflection face and guides the light beams to enter the holographic medium at predetermined angles; and an incident angle controlling means to control the incident angles of the first and second reference light beams entering the cylindrical optical body. The data pattern is recorded in the holographic medium by interference fringes between the signal light and the first or second reference light.
