摘要： A shingle system, mountable to a support surface, includes overlapping shingle assemblies. Each shingle assembly comprises a support bracket, having upper and lower ends, secured to a shingle body. The upper end has an upper support portion, extending away from the shingle body, and an upper support-surface-engaging part, engageable with a support surface so that the upper edge of the shingle body is positionable at a first distance from the support surface to create a first gap therebetween. The lower end has a lower support portion extending away from the lower surface. The support brackets create: (1) a second gap between shingle bodies of the first and second shingle assemblies, and (2) an open region beneath the first shingle assembly fluidly coupling the first and second gaps.

摘要： The invention provides a modular system that includes a composite tile, with or without integrated photovoltaic cells, a track system for assembly of the tiles to a structure, and a wiring system for the photovoltaic tile. The track and tiles are made of composite material. Molding and extrusion processes can be used for the manufacturing of the tile and track, including the integration of photovoltaic cells. The track lengths are fastened to the structure. The track and tile have mating features, such that the tile can be interlocked with the track. Adjacent tiles are installed with overlap. Photovoltaic cells can be molded into or assembled with the tile. A busbar or wire harness is assembled to the track. When the photovoltaic tile is interlocked with the track, the connectors of the photovoltaic cells engage the busbar or wiring harness to provide an electrical connection.

SOLUTION: A fixing groove 11b is provided on the top surface of the first frame body 11 of the solar cell module 10, and an engaging part 12b is provided on the downside of a second frame body 12. Thus, when the first frame body 11 of the front-row solar cell module 10 abuts on the side surface of hat steel 24 and the second frame body 12 of the back-row solar cell module 10 is placed on the hat steel 24, the fixing groove 11b of the first frame body 11 and the engaging part 12b of the second frame body 12 become almost as high as each other, so that the first and second frame bodies 11 and 12 can be fixed by being pressed by a common presser foot fitting 28. Additionally, since the respective solar cell modules 10 are arranged in a stepwise manner as in the case of a roofing material such as a tile because a step is made between the respective solar cell modules 10, the roof obtains a preferable appearance.
