    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size, while smoothly making fluid flow by reducing flowing resistance, in a check valve.SOLUTION: A check valve 10 includes a first body 14 disposed on an upstream side, and a second body 18 disposed on a downstream side and being connected to the first body 14. A valve plug 20 is disposed displaceably in a communication chamber 42 formed in the interior of the first body 14. A skirt 64, which urges a body portion 62 of the valve plug 20 in a direction for seating the body portion on a valve seat surface 46, is provided on the valve plug 20, such that the body portion 62 is seated on the valve seat surface 46 by an elastic force of the skirt 64. In addition, by supplying a pressure fluid to the first body 14, the valve plug 20 is displaced in opposition to the elastic force of the skirt 64, whereby the interior of the first body 14 and the interior of the second body 18 are placed in communication and the pressure fluid is allowed to flow there through.
