    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque fluctuation absorbing apparatus which secures strength and furthermore is suited to an apparatus the characteristics of which is required to change in accordance with a torsion direction and a torsion angle.SOLUTION: The torque fluctuation absorbing apparatus includes: a control plate 18 non-rotatably engaged with a second rotary member 17; a thrust member 22 which engages with a first rotary member 12 non-rotatably and axially movably and which slidably abuts on the control plate 18; and an elastic member 23 arranged in an axial-direction midway between the first rotary member 12 and the thrust member 22. Respective slide surfaces of the thrust member 22 and the control plate 18 are formed into such a predetermined shapes that when torsion is generated between the thrust member 22 and the control plate 18, the thrust member 22 is displaced in the axial direction against the control plate 18, pressing load of the elastic member 23 is changed and a hysteresis value generated between the thrust member 22 and the control plate 18 is changed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torsional shock absorber capable of effectively utilizing a friction surface in a hysteresis unit.SOLUTION: The torsional shock absorber includes: a first damper unit 3 that absorbs torsional shock between a first rotary member 18 and a second rotary member 16 using elastic force; and a hysteresis unit 4 that absorbs torsional shock between the first rotary member 18 and the second rotary member 16 using frictional force. The hysteresis unit 4 has: a control plate 44 that rotates synchronously with the first rotary member 18 when the first rotary member 18 is twisted on one direction side of the second rotary member 16, and rotates synchronously with the second rotary member 16 when twisted on the other direction side; a first thrust member 47 engaged so as to be non-rotatable around the control plate 44 and movable along the shaft direction, and is slidable along the second rotary member 16; and a first elastic member 46 that impels the first thrust member 47 towards the second rotary member 16, is slidable along the first thrust member 47, and is non-rotatable around the second rotary member 16.
