    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small gear pump that is formed to be flat in a roughly disc-like outer form to prevent generation of useless space around an installation place so as to improve space efficiency.
      SOLUTION: In this small gear pump, a disc-shaped case 11 is used, and in the case 11, a flat rotor chamber 12, a shaft bearing part 13, and a flat and cylindrical gear chamber 14 are formed in order to be communicated with each other. In the small gear pump, pipes 15 and 16 are provided to separately communicate the rotor chamber 12 and the gear chamber 14 with the external. In the case 11, a rotary shaft 18 is provided, with a lower end journalled in a radial direction and a thrust direction by a first bearing 19, an outer circumference at an axial direction intermediate part journalled in the radial direction by a second bearing 20, and an upper end reaching into the gear chamber 14. In the rotor chamber 12, a disc rotor 22 integrated with the rotary shaft 18 is provided to be driven to rotate by a stator 23 provided on an outer surface of the case 11. In the gear chamber 14, a trochoid gear 25 is provided, with an inner rotor 27 driven to rotate by the rotary shaft 18 to act as a pump with an outer rotor 26, so that fluid is taken into the pipe 15, and discharged out of the pipe 16.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a piston of an internal combustion engine, configured to reduce film forming time.SOLUTION: A method of producing a piston having a multilayer solid lubricating film includes: a machining step S1 of forming and machining a piston material; a cleaning step S2 of cleaning and drying the piston material; a first film forming step S3 of applying a cleaned skirt portion of the piston material with a first film forming paint which is provided for producing the inner first solid lubricating film; a drying step S4 of drying the first film forming paint applied at the step S3 on the same portion at a temperature of 60°C to 160°C for a time less than 800 seconds; a second film forming step S5 of applying an outer surface of the first film forming paint dried at the step S4 with a second film forming paint which is provided for producing the outer second solid lubricant film; and a baking step S6 of baking the first and second film forming paints on the same portion at a temperature of 160°C to 240°C for a time of 15 to 180 minutes.
