    • 【課題】内燃機関に燃料を噴射する燃料噴射ノズル1において、サック室12の容量低減によるHC抑制効果を維持しながら、噴霧貫徹力を向上させてスモークを低減する。【解決手段】ノズル1によれば、凸部13は、ニードル2の一部であり、サック室12で軸心αと軸が略一致する略円柱体として存在する。また、凹部14は、ノズルボディ3に設けられる窪みであって凸部13が嵌まり、凸部13を軸方向に摺動自在に支持する。まず、凸部13をサック室12に存在させることで、サック室12の容量を低減することができるので、HCを抑制することができる。また、凸部13をサック室12に存在させることで、サック室12に流入した燃料を、凸部13の表面に沿わせて流すことができる。このため、噴孔11内で剥離が発生する領域を入側開口11aの近傍に狭めることができるので、噴霧貫徹力を向上させてスモークを低減することができる。【選択図】図2

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To atomize a dead fuel.SOLUTION: A fuel injection valve includes a needle valve which has a seat part on a tip side; a nozzle body which has a seat surface on which the seat part is seated, a swirl stabilization chamber on the downstream side of the seat surface, and an injection hole having an inlet in the swirl stabilization chamber; a swirl flow generation part which is provided with a swirl groove for imparting a swirl component to a fuel introduced into the swivel stabilization chamber; and a fuel collision part which is provided at the tip part of the nozzle valve, and crosses a virtual plane obtained by extending the seat surface that the nozzle body has toward the injection hole when the needle valve is opened. Consequently, a dead fuel stays in the swirl stabilization chamber and is introduced later into the injection hole while given the swirl component from a fuel having the swirl component.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manufacturing costs by improving processability of the fuel passage and a valve seat of a fuel injection nozzle that sequentially opens a nozzle hole for injecting fuel from the leading end side in accordance with the lift amount of the needle valve.
      SOLUTION: A sack portion 6 of a nozzle body 2 is provided with a sub nozzle hole 16 formed downward to always communicate with a nozzle sack 7 formed at the leading end side of a leading end 12 of a needle valve 3 and a main nozzle hole 14 that radially opens and communicates with the nozzle sack when the needle valve 3 lifts by a predetermined or more amount. At a sliding portion 17 of the nozzle body 2 with which the leading end 12 of the needle valve 3 is slidably fit, the channel communicating a fuel flow passage 8 with the nozzle sack 7 while the needle valve 3 is opened is formed separately from the main nozzle hole 14 so as not to directly communicate therewith.

    • PURPOSE:To control generation of unburned product and pale smoke and to reduce noise, by furnishing a main nozzle to inject fuel into a main combustion chamber and a secondary nozzle to inject fuel into a secondary combustion chamber, in a fuel injection nozzle arrangement. CONSTITUTION:A main combustion chamber 2 and a secondary combustion chamber 3 are furnished at the top of a piston 1. In the main combustion chamber is furnished a fuel injection nozzle system 4 which has a main nozzle 13 to inject fuel into the main combustion chamber 2, and a secondary nozzle 11 to inject fuel into the secondary combustion chamber 3 when the main nozzle is closed. A connecting passage is arranged through which the main combustion chamber 2 and the secondary combustion chamber 3 are connected. Thus, ignition performance in the low load engine operation is improved, and pale smoke can be controlled to reduce unburned product.
