    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microetching agent capable of maintaining adhesion between copper and a resin or the like even in a low etching amount, a replenishment liquid added to the microetching agent, and a method for producing a printed circuit board using the microetching agent.SOLUTION: The microetching agent for copper of the present invention is made of an aqueous solution comprising: cupric ions; an amino group-containing compound having a molecular weight of 17 to 400; and a polymer. The polymer has polyamine chains and/or a cationic group, and also, is a water-soluble polymer having the weight average molecular weight of 1,000 or higher. In the microetching agent, provided that the concentration of the amino group-containing compound is defined as A weight% and the concentration of the polymer is defined as B weight%, the value of A/B is 50 to 6,000.
