    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the color fastness of a metal-tone building material which has a metal thin-film layer formed with a metal nano-paste. SOLUTION: In a metal-tone building material having a metal thin-film layer laminated on a substrate through an undercoat layer, the undercoat layer is formed with an under-coat material containing a cross-linking reaction type organic resin (A) having at least one functional group reacting with the carboxyl group. The metal thin-film layer comprises a dispersion (B) of metal fine particles of an average particle size of 1-400 nm and a carboxyl-containing organic resin (C) and is formed with an over-coat material containing 20-200 pts.wt., based on the solid content, of (C) to 100 pts.wt. of (B).
