    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent delamination near an Ag electrode by providing a ceramic electronic parts in which a large air pore is formed near the Ag electrode and a method for producing the ceramic electronic parts.
      SOLUTION: The ceramic electronic parts is characterized in that: a ceramic sintered compact 1 and an Ag electrode 2 connecting surface which is constituted by forming the Ag electrode 2 on a surface of the ceramic sintered compact 1; the ceramic sintered compact 1 comprises a borosilicate glass phase, a filler 5, closed pores 4a, 4b and open pores 3a, 3b; a plurality of the closed pores 4a, 4b or a plurality of open pores 3a, 3b are formed in such a way that their pore diameters gradually become smaller from the Ag electrode 2 connecting surface toward a surface where no Ag electrode 2 is connected. Thus, delamination near the Ag electrode 2 can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE: To sufficiently fill the gaps among expanded granules and to obtain an expanded and molded body of natural glass having low bulk density, superior heat insulating properties, strength and design, by subjecting natural glass granules to expansion, melt sticking and molding by heating at a prescribed heating rate in a steam atmosphere.
      CONSTITUTION: Natural glass granules of obsidian, perlite or the like are heated to a temp. at which the granules are expanded, melt-stuck and molded at 10W 50°C/min heating rate in a steam atmosphere. Thus, the expandability of the natural glass granules is remarkably improved as compared to a conventional manufacturing method. The expansion rate of the granules is increased, and the melt stickability of expanded granules is remarkably improved. Accordingly, the gaps among the expanded granules are perfectly filled, and the resulting expanded and molded body of natural glass has low bulk density, superior heat insulating properties, strength and design.
