    • PURPOSE:To prevent a slip upon acceleration, by determining the amount of spark retardation in ignition timing in accordance with vehicle speeds, steering angles and throttle opening degrees to compensate the ignition timing to control the output of the engine. CONSTITUTION:When a vehicle speed V is detected in accordance with an output signal from a vehicle speed sensor 21, a compensating value K1 having a vehicle speed V as a parameter is calculated in accordance with this vehicle speed. Then, a steering angle alpha is detected in accordance with an output signal from a steering angle sensor 24, and a compensating value K2 having the steering angle is calculated in accordance with this steering angle alpha. Further, a compensating value K3 having a throttle opening degree beta as a parameter is calculated in accordance with an output signal from a throttle sensor 11. With these compensating values a compensating value K4 for obtaining a spark retardation amount DELTAtheta in ignition timing is calculated by use of the equation: K4=K3(K1+ K2), and the control of the engine is carried out in accordance with this compensating value K4.

    • PURPOSE: To protect an engine from runaway due to opening of a throttle valve by providing means for producing an alarm upon detection that the displacement of an accelerator is zero and the throttle valve is not at the closed position in a remote controller for the throttle valve.
      CONSTITUTION: An accelerator zero position detector 105 and a throttle initial position detector 106 are provided in a remote controller for electrically detecting the displacement of an accelerator operator 101 and opening/closing a throttle valve 103 by means of a drive means such as a servo motor. The output signal from both detectors are inputed into an abnormality decision circuit 107. If no signal is inputed from said detector 106 within predetermined time after provision of a signal from said detector 105, the decision circuit 107 will decide to be occurrence of abnormal condition thus to produce an alarm.

CONSTITUTION:This car speed restricting device senses the car speed on the basis of input signal given by a car speed sensor in ordet to restrict the car speed under a set max. level. A delay of the angle advance amount theta shall be made during application of heavy load to the engine if there is any discontinuity in the line for car speed signals, so as to lower the output power of the engine, as well as the rise of exhaust temp. is suppressed by over-enrichment of the mixture gas. At Step 120 it is judged whether the car speed signal line discontinuity plug Fv=1, and at Step 122 the tauX1.2 is substituted into the fuel injection time tau so as to increase the fuel injection amount by 20%.
