    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to receive thrust load exerted to a sun gear shaft with the use of a convenient member without a steered wheel shaft being formed in a complicated shape, by disposing a thrust collar between a driven side bevel gear and the steered wheel shaft. CONSTITUTION:An outer gear casing 4 is attached, rotatably by steering operation, to an inner gear casing 3 attached to an axle housing 2 which is incorporated in a steered wheel drive shaft 1. Further the shaft part 18a of a driven side bevel gear 18 of a belt gear 21 which is driven by a turning center shaft 5 that is aligned with the center of steering turn, is provided on a steered wheel axle 11, and a thrust collar 22 which is disposed between the driven side bevel gear 18 and the steered wheel axle 11, for receiving a thrust load exerted to the bevel gear 18, is locked against rotation relative to the steered wheel axle 11 by means of a splitted shape stop ring 23 fitted onto the steered wheel axle 11 in the inner peripheral direction of the thrust collar 22.

CONSTITUTION:A lower gear case 4 that can freely be rotated around the central axle 9 in the rotating direction is provided with a planetary gears mechanism 16 and a cover 15 inside and supports a front axle 14. This cover 15 mounts the front axle 14 by bearings 25 and 26 and a ring gear 27 by a bolt 28. As a result, after the planetary gears mechanism is fit in the cover 14, the lower gear case can be assembled and assembly can be facilitated.
