    • PURPOSE:To eliminate replacement of frame body due to different size of battery jar, when thermally jointing the battery jar and upper cover, by containing the battery jar in a frame body provided with plural rows of stepped recesses for inserting a bottom plate with correspondence to the height of battery jar. CONSTITUTION:Both jointing sections 4, 4' are fused through a heat board 3 between a joint 4 which is the upper end section of wall body 5 of battery jar 1 composed of thermoplastic resin and a joint 4' at the falling section 6 of upper cover 2 composed of said resin then said board 3 is removed to secure said joints 4, 4'. Here the jar 1 is contained in an iron frame body 7 having inner diameter approximately same with the outer diameter of jar 1 wHile provided with plural rows of recesses 10A, 10B, 10C, 10D for inserting a bottom plate 11 in accordance to the height of jar 1 then the joints 4, 4' are welded. With such arrangement deformation of wall body 5 of battery jar 1 is prevented to produce a lead storage battery having complete joints 4, 4'.
