    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a kneading extruder compact, and allow the kneading extruder to cope with processing of polypropylene having various melt flow rates while decreasing the amount of remaining peroxide having a half-life period at 200°C of ≥10 seconds.SOLUTION: A kneading extruder 1 is used, which includes a gate device 31 (first throttling mechanism) disposed so that the degree of filling with the polypropylene kneaded in a kneading blade part 21 located the most upstream can be changed, a butterfly valve 36 (second throttling mechanism) disposed so that the degree of filling with the polypropylene kneaded in a kneading vane part 22 located downstream of the gate device 31 can be changed. When the polypropylene and a peroxide are kneaded, the degree of filling with the polypropylene is heightened by means of a gate device 31, and in the case where the polypropylene kneaded in the kneading vane part 22 located the most downstream has a temperature lower than a given temperature, the degree of filling with the polypropylene is heightened by means of a butterfly valve 36 to thereby regulate the temperature of the polypropylene kneaded in the kneading vane part 22 located the most downstream to a given temperature or higher.
