    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simultaneously coating the inner and outer surfaces of a cylindrical member highly precisely and efficiently without significantly raising equipment cost even in the case of a flexible material. SOLUTION: In the method for simultaneously coating the inner and outer surfaces of the cylindrical member while keeping the axis of the cylindrical member vertical, the inner and outer surfaces are simultaneously coated by a first slit-like nozzle radially spraying first coating to the whole inner periphery of the cylindrical member provided to be the inner surface of the cylindrical member, and a second slit-like nozzle annularly spraying second coating in the axial direction of the cylindrical member to the whole outer periphery of the cylindrical member, facing the first nozzle and to be the outer surface of the cylindrical member, at a position wherein the height of the first coating sprayed from the first nozzle in contact with the inner surface of the cylindrical member is the same as the height of the second coating sprayed from the second nozzle in contact with the outer surface of the cylindrical member.     • PURPOSE: To enable uniform coating with a small amt. of a coating liquid, by forming an overflow part which allows the coating liquid in a main tank to overflow therefrom in a horizontal direction to a part of the main tank and providing a weir member with which the one surface of a base material contacts without any space on the outside of said overflow part.
      CONSTITUTION: The coating liquid 17 of a sub-tank 12 is supplied by a pump 28 through a supply pipe 33 to a main tank 11, from which the liquid passes through the opening 15 of a side wall 13a to an overflow part 18. The liquid 17 overflows from the part 18, flows in the top end part of a weir member 19 and contacts with the surface of a base material 20. As the material 20 is pulled upward at a specified speed in this stage, the liquid 17 flows into the outside chamber 24 of the tank 12 by flowing along a guide plate 21 while lubricating the sliding part between the member 19 and the material 20. Part of the liquid 17 in this stage is coated to a uniform thickness on the surface of the material 20.
