    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioner for a vehicle, in which uneven distribution of wind velocity is suppressed and filter exchange life is made longer by retarding progress of clogging of a filter.SOLUTION: An air sending device 20 sucks, in an inside/outside air two-layered mode, outside air from an outside air intake port 220 by passing the air through one side portion 210 of the filter near the outside air intake port via one of independent passages, and sucks inside air from an inside air intake port 221 by passing the air through the other side portion 211 of the filter near the inside air intake port via the other independent passage. The air sending device 20, in an outside air mode, sucks the outside air from the outside air intake port 220 by passing the air through both filters 210 and 211 near the outside air intake port and inside air intake port via a continuation passage 228. An air intake device 22 is configured to be switchable between the outside air mode and the inside/outside air two-layered mode. The filter 21 is disposed to be tilted in relation to the intake portion of the air sending device 20.

Meanwhile, in a period in which light is applied during the operation of the device, the antimicrobial activity of silver can be enhanced by the light. This can realize the development of a higher level of antimicrobial activity. Further, the limitation of the wavelength of the light can provide an air cleaner which is safe to the human body and is inexpensive without deterioration in resins.
