    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame structure and base structure suitable to a packaged type engine-driven water heater.SOLUTION: In the packaged type engine-driven water heater 1, a compressor 31 is driven by an engine 40, a refrigerant/water heat exchanger 33 is provided for exchanging heat between discharged refrigerant and supply water, a water/water heat exchanger 41 is provided downstream of the refrigerant/water heat exchanger 33 for exchanging heat between engine cooling water and the supply water, an evaporator 35 is provided for vaporizing the refrigerant through heat exchange with air, and the respective devices are contained in a package 2. The interior of the package 2 is partitioned into upper and lower parts, the engine 40 and the compressor are disposed in the package lower part 2a, and the evaporator 35 and a fan 35a for the evaporator 35 are disposed in the package upper part 2b.
