    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floating pier, which has a simplified constitution and can bring about an effective wave-absorbing effect, by overcoming a problem such that a conventional floating pier, equipped with a wave-absorbing function, has a considerably complex constitution in which many platy materials are arranged in such a manner that a slit is formed in a horizontal frame. SOLUTION: In the wave-absorbing floating pier in which a plurality of floats are arranged on the lower side of a deck, the floats are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the deck in such a manner as to form right and left float rows along right and left ends of the deck; a plurality of rows of wave-absorbing membrane bodies, whose lower parts are sunk under water, are arranged in a lower central part of the deck in parallel with the right and left float rows; each of the water-absorbing membrane bodies forms a sea-water layer between membranes facing each other at an interval; and respective lower ends of the water-absorbing membrane bodies are coupled together by a ballast pipe extended in the longitudinal direction of the deck.
