    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carburetor foolproof fuel adjustment and limiter assembly. SOLUTION: A valve in the limiter assembly has a rotatable longitudinal shaft, and a head laterally surrounded by a carburetor. A first collar can advance and retreat covering the head. The first collar has a first stop member and a second stop member circumferentially spaced from the first stop member. In the locking position of the first collar, the first collar is engaged with the head and rotated together within a limited rotating range with respect to the carburetor. A pin is held to the carburetor and disposed between the circumferential directions of the first and second stop members. When the first collar is in the locking position and the valve is rotated for minimum fuel flow, the pin is engaged with the first stop member, and when the valve is rotated for maximum fuel flow, the pin is engaged with the second stop member.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carburetor having an auxiliary fuel/air supplying device, wherein the carburetor can be automatically operated to open and close the conduit of the auxiliary fuel/air supplying device, and does not require the manual operation of a control valve for this purpose.
      SOLUTION: The carburetor comprises a fuel/air mixing passage having a throttle valve, a hole having a valve which partially defines a valve drive chamber, and a divided fuel/air mixing chamber which communicates with the fuel/air mixing passage at the position located on the downstream side of the throttle valve. A fuel passage and an air passage communicate with the fuel/air mixing chamber. A purge device communicates with the valve drive chamber, and can be operated to move the valve to the opened position in order to open the fuel/air passage toward the fuel/air mixing chamber. As a result, the fuel/air mixture flows from the fuel/air mixing chamber into the fuel/air mixing passage located on the downstream side of the throttle valve.
