    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle having an exhaust heat recovery unit for recovering heat of exhaust gas, wherein a driver or other persons can arbitrarily select whether enhancement of fuel efficiency and heating performance of the vehicle is prioritized. SOLUTION: In a hybrid automobile 20, when an ECO switch 88 is turned on, a threshold value Pref as a heat exchange allowing condition is set to be a value P2 as a second condition having a tendency to allow the exhaust gas to flow to a heat exchange part 125 of the exhaust heat recovery unit 124 from an emission control device 122, compared with an occasion when the ECO switch 88 is turned off (a step 150). An engine 22 and motors MG1, MG2 are controlled so that torque based on a request torque Tr* is outputted to a ring gear shaft 32a as an axle accompanying an open/close control of a flow passage switch valve 126 corresponding to the set threshold value Pref (steps S170 - S240).
