    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection amount control device of an internal combustion engine, capable of avoiding the increase of an NOdischarge amount as much as possible when the nonuniformity of air/fuel ratios among cylinders occurs.SOLUTION: The control device performs main feedback control such that the air/fuel ratio represented by an output value of an upstream side air/fuel ratio sensor is conformed to the target air/fuel ratio. Further, the control device gains an air/fuel ratio imbalance index value which becomes larger as the differences among the cylinders of the air/fuel ratio of a mixed gas supplied to respective combustion chambers is large, and the target air/fuel ratio is corrected to the rich side as the gained air/fuel ratio imbalance index value is large. Then, the control device separately calculates a stoichiometric correction term (first correction amount) for conforming a real average air/fuel ratio to the reference air/fuel ratio in the range of the window of catalysts and an enriching correction term (second correction amount) for conforming the real average air/fuel ratio to an air/fuel ratio of the reference air/fuel ratio or less, based on the air/fuel ratio imbalance index value, and determines the target air/fuel ratio by using them.
