    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain improvement of falling-out preventing force of a seal cap and facility of attaching and removing work at the same time.
      SOLUTION: The seal cap 7 has a closing part 11 fitted in an intake port 3 and a discharge port 5 under pressure. The closing part 11 is pressed against inner wall surfaces of the intake port 3 and discharge port 5 with its own elasticity. An expansion part 14 is then reduced in diameter by closing a pair of handles 15 of a clip 8 and is fitted in a concave part 12 of the seal cap 7. When the handles 15 are released, the expansion part 14 is expanded and its outer peripheral surface presses an inner peripheral surface of the concave part 12. Strong falling-out preventing force of the seal cap 7 is generated by multiplier effect of elastic force of the closing part 11 and biasing force of the expansion part 14. When the seal cap 7 is removed, contact pressure against the inner peripheral surface of the concave part 12 is relaxed by closing the handles 15 to reduce the diameter of the expansion part 14 and the clip 8 can be simply removed. The seal cap 7 can be easily removed by gripping a knob part 10 and pulling up it.

      SOLUTION: The seal cap stopper 18 prevents falling-out of the seal caps 16, 17 sealing an intake hole 13 or a discharge hole 14 formed in a housing 11 of a compressor 10. The seal cap stopper 18 has a plate-shaped connection part 22 and a pair of pinch parts 20, 21 formed at both ends of the connection part 22 by bending and opposed to each other. The connection part 22 connecting base ends of the pinch parts 20, 21 and the pair of pinch parts 20, 21 define a space allowing interposition of the housing 11, the pair of pinch parts 20, 21 pinches the housing 11 with elastic force and the pinch parts 20, 21 or the connection part 22 contacts with the seal caps 16, 17 and restrains falling-out of the seal caps 16, 17.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for easily performing an S poisoning recovery control for a former NOx catalyst by easily raising the temperature of the former NOx catalyst when two NOx catalysts are arranged in series in an exhaust emission control device of an internal combustion engine.
      SOLUTION: This exhaust emission control device comprises two storage/reduction NOx catalysts 3, 4 arranged in series in the exhaust passage 2 of the internal combustion engine, an exhaust throttle valve 6 installed in an exhaust passage 2 between the two NOx catalysts 3, 4 and controlling the flow of an exhaust gas, and an S poisoning recovery control means for releasing the sulfur contents stored in the NOx catalysts 3, 4 by supplying a fuel into the exhaust gas to raise the temperature of the NOx catalysts 3, 4 and lower the air/fuel ratio of the exhaust gas for releasing the sulfur contents stored in the NOx catalysts 3, 4. When the stored sulfur contents are released by using the S poisoning recovery control means for the former NOx catalyst 3 on the upstream side out of the two NOx catalysts 3, 4, the exhaust throttle valve 6 is controlled to the closed side.
