    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new paint composition that hardly degrades in spite of containing an organic titanosilicate and is capable of forming a paint film excellent in weatherability. SOLUTION: The paint composition is characterized by being formed by dissolving in a solvent the organic titanosilicate which is composed of an oxide of silicon and a metal containing a bond represented by M-O-M (M's indicate each independently a silicon atom or a metal atom) and contains an organic group bonding with at least part of the silicon atoms and of which at least part of the metal atoms are a titanium atom. The paint composition is further characterized by containing a stabilizer having radical-trapping ability and/or anti-oxidation ability. The paint film is prevented from degrading by adding the stabilizer that inhibits formation of an oxidative atmosphere caused by transition of the titanium atom and traps a radical. A synthetic resin component and various additives are added to the second solvent in which the prepared organic and inorganic composite material is dissolved, and the coating composition is prepared.
