    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel lubricating diesel engine, such as light oil, in which the optimal oil pressure and oil amount in each part of the engine can be obtained without increasing the number of pumps.
      SOLUTION: The engine (1) is provided with a lubricating system fuel supply passage (8) to supply fuel into each part (7) of the engine by a lubricating pump (10), an injection system fuel supply passage (13) to supply fuel into an injection system (12) by an injection pump (15), and a branched fuel supply passage (17) which is branched from the downstream of the injection pump (15) to supply fuel into each part (7) of the engine. A regulator (18) is arranged in the branched fuel supply passage (17). The properly depressurized fuel is supplied into an adjustable valve mechanism, etc., contained in each part (7) of the engine. Such a constitution makes it possible to obtain the optimal oil pressure and oil amount of each part (7) of the engine using the low-pressure lubricating pump (10).

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing structure capable of improving seizure resistance, by reducing bearing pressure between a shaft and a bearing member, when rotating the shaft, while providing an excellent lubrication characteristic, particularly, an excellent lubrication characteristic such as when starting an engine and when stopping the engine.
      SOLUTION: This bearing structure 1 is formed by installing the bearing member 3 in a back plate member 2. A slender recessed part 3a extending in the peripheral direction is arranged in the bearing member 3. A contraction member 4 having a thermal expansion coefficient larger than the bearing member 3, is respectively embedded and installed in this recessed part 3a. The contraction member 4 forms a sliding surface 6 flush with a surface of the bearing member 3, when the bearing structure 1 expands by having heat, by starting rotation of a crankshaft, when the engine is started. While, when the temperature of the bearing structure 1 drops, the contraction member 4 contracts, and a step height appears in the recessed part 3a, and an oil reservoir 5 is formed.
