    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the extent of responsiveness in time of the turnabout of a differential direction as well as to make ease of suitability with an automatic braking system upon imparting a difference in torque characteristics by the differential direction, by forming some step parts different in rotational length at both rotational ends of a stationary blade and a movable blade. SOLUTION: Plural pieces of blades 22 of thick wall being slightly smaller than the axial size of a space part 20, are projectingly installed in a rotor 21 at equiangular intervals on the circumference in the radial direction, and this space part 20 is partitioned off into plural pieces of pressure chambers 23 on the circumference by these blades 22. In succession, wall-thinned step parts 22A, 22B and 26A, 26B are formed at both rotational ends of the stationary blades and movable blades 26, and they are formed into such a asymmetric form as longer in the normal rotation of the rotor 21 but shorter in the reverse rotation. Transmission torque in time of reciprocal differential is made to be smaller than the transmission torque in time of normal differential, whereby any torque interference in time of the operation of an automatic braking system(ABS) is relieved as securing kinetic performance in four-wheel drive, and thus its suitability with the automatic braking system becomes facilitated.
