    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger allowing improvement of of drawability of a header tank, and not having risk of occurrence of a tank crack.
      SOLUTION: This heat exchanger has: a heat exchanging tube; a header plate provided in an end part of the tube; and the header tank 11 provided in the header plate. The header tank 11 is formed by drawing, and the header tank 11 is formed with an outward projecting bead 15. Thereby, the drawability of the header tank can be improved, and shaping of the header tank is facilitated.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure capable of simplifying the shape of a resin pipe 4 and a connection cup 2 and enhancing a sealing property in a connection structure wherein a tip part of the resin pipe 4 is caulked and fixed in a pipe connection port 1a of a metallic tank 1 through the ring shaped metallic connection cup 2.
      SOLUTION: A flange part 3 is protrudingly formed on an outer periphery of the tip part of the resin pipe 4, and an O ring fitting part 9 having a diameter reduced by a step is provided on a tip end part of the flange part 3. A circular groove is not formed on the O ring fitting part 9. On the connection cup 2, a seat flange part 5 is bent back at an intermediate part of an outer periphery, and an inner flange part 7 is formed at a tip end thereof by bending. An O ring 10 is attached between the inner periphery of the inner flange part 7 and the connection cup 2 and the O ring fitting part 9. Further, a fitting part 8 is formed on an end part of the seat flange part 5 at a rear end side.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tank structure for heat exchanger that fits a tank main body 3 in a tube plate 4 with high accuracy and simplifies the molding tools of the main body 3 and plate 4. SOLUTION: The tank main body 3 is formed in a narrow and long grooved shape, and a first intermediate-section slit 5 and a pair of first end-section slits 5a are respectively formed in the intermediate section and both end sections of the main body 3 in the lengthwise direction. A reinforcing member 9 is fit in the slit 5, and reinforcing members/side lids 11 are respectively fit in the slits 5a. Second intermediate-section slits 8 and second end-section slits 8 are respectively formed in the member 9 and reinforcing members/side lids 11 to hold the side wall sections 2 of the tank main body 3. In addition, the opening of the main body 3 is put on the grooved tube plate 4, and the connecting sections of the main body 3 and plate 4 are joined to each other by brazing, etc.

There is no annular groove formed on outer periphery of the tip of the resin pipe 4, and an outer flange part 3 of the resin pipe 4 is seated on a second stepped part 8 of the connection cup 2.
