    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio wave monitoring apparatus for efficiently measuring an arrival direction of an unknown radio wave by surely acquiring the unknown radio wave being a monitor object. SOLUTION: A discrimination section 3 analyzes e.g., a frequency of a signal received by a reception antenna 1 and compares the frequency with a preset frequency to discriminate whether or not the signal is a received signal from a monitor object. When the discrimination section 3 discriminates the signal to be the signal of the monitor object, the discrimination section 3 supplies an arrival azimuth measurement command to an arbitration section 4 together with radio wave item data (frequency) of the received signal. The arbitration section 4 properly selects any of azimuth measurement sections 5 (51 to 5N) to measure the radio wave arrival azimuth among the plurality of azimuth measurement sections 5 (51 to 5N) and supplies the radio wave item data (frequency) and the azimuth measurement command to the selected azimuth measurement section. Thus, the arbitration section 4 receives the azimuth measurement result measured by any of the azimuth measurement sections 5 (51 to 5N) and supplies the result to a monitor console 6, which can estimate the azimuth or position of a transmission source and perform display or the like.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive normal data from an arbitrary transmission data stream in a short period of time even without knowing in advance a parameter required for a receiver terminal to receive each of transmission data streams.
      SOLUTION: Parameter information such as the encoding rate of convolution codes in each transmission data stream and an interleaving size is time division-multiplexed in a synchronizing signal while being spread with the same synchronization spreading code as a spreading code used for a synchronizing process of the spreading code. Therefore, as long as the synchronizing signal is being received, the parameter information is acquired regardless of the reception of each transmission data stream. Parameters for the respective parts of a receiver are set on the basis of the parameter information of transmission data streams acquired by receiving the synchronizing signal, thereby easily and speedily performing the receiving process of transmission data streams.
